In celebration of World Environment Day—a global reminder of the importance of protecting our planet—Sae-A Trading’s overseas subsidiaries engaged in meaningful environmental campaigns in partnership with their local communities.
The S&G subsidiary in Guatemala held a tree-planting event in collaboration with the Municipality of Mixco, highlighting a strong sense of community engagement. Employees, municipal officials, and local school students came together for a hands-on program that included education on tree planting followed by the actual planting of trees on public grounds.
In addition, a company-wide “Lights Off” campaign took place during the lunch hour, encouraging all employees to participate in saving energy. This was paired with a recycling and waste separation campaign, where staff voluntarily learned and practiced proper sorting methods, helping to foster a culture of sustainability in daily life.
